This course provides a review of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Modalities of treatment will focus on individual counseling, family counseling, group counseling, crisis intervention and medication management. Emphasis will be placed upon the application of theories to practice, including case conceptualization and corresponding therapeutic interventions.
