Multimedia Production

Catalog description

This is an introductory production course that is focused on the production of diverse multimedia in the form of video, television, websites, social media and news. The course combines the theory and praxis of multimedia with an emphasis on small group projects that explore various genre of multimedia production. The course covers the fundamentals of producing, scripting, directing, and editing for television in a variety of genres and production formats. Students develop technical, ethical and aesthetic abilities in order to produce multimedia content for diverse audience.
