Computing and Digital Literacy

Catalog description

This course gives an introduction to digital literacy and computer science for today’s society. Students become familiar and interact with a variety of digital tools and computing devices that can be used for a number of purposes including remote teaching and learning as well as an introduction to basic computing concepts such as, programs, programming, algorithms and web design. This course serves as a digital literacy computer science survey course, as well as a foundation course for students in teacher preparation and those with a major or minor in computer science.
