Catalog description

This course expands on the conceptual knowledge of molecular and cellular biology and how it contributes to the overall function of an individual cell as well as cells as a part of a tissue. Students will learn about how the structure of cellular components contribute to cellular physiology including gene expression, cell division, movement, cell-cell interactions, and cellular signaling. Cell physiological principles will be covered in-depth supplemented with discussions surrounding current topics and applications in cellular biology.
