Sand Tray and Sensorimotor Approaches for Art Therapy

Catalog description

This course introduces the fundamental use of sandplay/sandtray and clay field therapeutic mediums. Jungian concepts and symbols are investigated through reading and written assignments and experiential exercises. Students also explore clay field therapy and its benefits. Students integrate concepts into the use of sandtray and clay field therapy in a therapeutic setting and learn how to facilitate these modalities with clients.
