Catalog description

In this course, students will learn to create a visual narrative in a time-based context. By first establishing their concept through storyboards, students will develop storytelling techniques that will be realized using a combination of digital illustration, video, audio, images, and typography. Through the use of the elements of motion design such as sequencing, rhythm, pacing, sound, and timing they will explore the effects of time on a narrative structure and learn to design for the constantly evolving hierarchy of a mobile composition.
