Introduction to Professional Practices

Catalog description

This course is designed to help art and design majors understand their course work in a professional context. Students will learn about different career opportunities in art and design and create self-directed work relevant to a desired art/design specialization. Upon completion of the course, students have developed a portfolio and resume that reflect their understanding of industry standards, targets their personal career ambitions, and can be used to apply for future internship opportunities.
