Measurement and Statistics in Exercise Science

Catalog description

This course is an introduction to research methods and statistical principles relating to fields of kinesiology. Emphasis is placed on description of samples and populations, effectively reading and evaluating the content of research articles, practical application of measurement principles such as validity, reliability, correlation, regression, and null hypothesis testing, as well as the statistical tools used in this process.
