Catalog description

The internship is a course of practical study through placement in a work experience in a community service agency with a focus in addictions studies. Acceptable internship settings provide the student with an opportunity to develop new skills or work with a new problem or population. Under close supervision, students acquire experience in providing direct service to consumers and learn how agencies function.
