Catalog description
A Humanities course that surveys the nature and function of theatre as acollaborative art. The foundations and basic elements, historical and contemporary forms of experience, production processes, and criteria for performance criticism of theatre will be explored using lecture, selected readings, films, demonstrations, guest speakers, and slide presentations. Some play attendance will be required.
