Fundamentals Clinical

Catalog description

This course is the first clinical education experience that provides an opportunity for students to integrate previously learned didactic and laboratory skills in situations simulating that of a Practical Nurse. Students must provide proof of current BLS (CPR) Certification from American Heart Association on the first day of the course to remain enrolled. This clinical internship provides students with aminimum of 80 clinical contact hours, including exposure to clinical administration of medication, under direct supervision of qualified faculty.
