Catalog description

This course begins with the introduction of proper care and calibrations of precision measuring instruments. Students will learn how to use and read all the instruments used in the machining fields. The course will then focus on all different types of tool holders used in CNC machining along with types of cutting tools. This course also includes the use and design of jigs and fixtures used in the machine trades. Students will also learn the inspection process used in the inspection of machined parts.
