CNC Turning

Catalog description

Students will be provided with ablueprint and will be responsible for programming, editing, and choosing cutting tools to create afinished part on acomputer numerical control turning center. Students will program, set-up and produce finished parts. The course includes HAAS conversational programming for producing fast finished parts along with all documentations needed for the parts produced. The course will also prepare students to complete NIMS level 1 CNC turning certification.
