Catalog description
This course provides information about State & Federal laws regarding processing, handling, dispensing, and assisting pharmacy in medication distribution. Topics will include: Maintaining registration/licensure, professional standards, regulatory, formulary, contractual, medication safety practices, quality assurance measures, and safety requirements. The focus will be on OSHA, MIOSH and USP requirements for Prevention and Treatment of Exposure to Hazardous Materials.
