Legal Research and Writing I

Catalog description

Students will examine the federal and state court systems and be introduced to case and statutory analysis. Students will learn to use alaw library and the resources available there. They will examine the role of paralegals in the litigation process and will also learn to analyze and synthesize written opinions. Students will be required to complete several writing projects.
