A “Principles of Incident Response and Disaster Recovery” course aims to equip students with the knowledge to identify vulnerabilities within computer networks, implement countermeasures to mitigate risks and damage, and develop comprehensive plans to minimize downtime and losses during system disruptions, including understanding the key principles of incident response and disaster recovery, creating effective contingency plans, and analyzing best practices for managing emergencies across various scenarios particularly focusing on IT business continuity perspectives.
