The course is designed to emphasize an individual’sability to maintain health while utilizing the nursing process and developmental theories with afocus on the nursing role as acommunicator, provider of care, and educator. The developmental stages of infancy, school-age, adolescent and adulthood are presented in relation to Basic Needs.
