Catalog description

This course provides an in-depth study of microphone types, placement techniques, and recording strategies across various audio production scenarios. Students will explore the characteristics of different microphones, their applications in studio and field recording, and how to optimize placement for voiceover, music production, and live recording. Students will also learn the basics of how to mix and master their captures for different recording and playback environments. Through hands-on projects, students will develop critical listening skills and practical expertise in capturing high-quality audio.
