Catalog description
This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts, terminology, and workflows of audio production. Topics include an overview of audio equipment, signal flow, the basics of electricity, basic acoustic principles, and essential troubleshooting techniques. Students will gain hands-on experience with industry relevant hardware while developing foundational skills in system setup, cable management, and industry vocabulary. This course provides acomprehensive introduction to the expectations and practices of the professional audio environment, preparing students for further study in audio technology.
