Therapeutic Massage I

Catalog description

This course lays the foundation for developing the skills of amassage therapist. Upon course completion, students will be able to perform afull Swedish massage utilizing proper technique and body mechanics. In addition, students will learn the rich history of massage therapy, how to develop aprofessional and therapeutic patient/client relationship and the proper methods for communication within the profession as well as the health care community.
