Computer Science I - JAVA

Catalog description

This is abeginning course for students in the Computer Science curriculum and other related areas. The structure and facilities of the Java language are introduced. Topics to be covered include selection, repetition, methods, classes, arrays, files, an introduction to GUI, and program design and documentation. Students will learn to program from the command line and be introduced to an IDE. It is recommended that students complete both Computer Science Iand II at the same institution.
