Catalog description
This is acalculus preparatory course designed primarily for students majoring in mathematics, science or engineering. The topics covered include review of polynomial, radical, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions; radian measure; right triangle trigonometry; trigonometric functions and their graphs; inverse trigonometric functions; trigonometric identities and equations; Law of Sines; and Law of Cosines. Real world problems will be analyzed. Use of graphing calculator, as recommended by the instructor, is required for this course.
