Catalog description

Provides the student with skills in communication which are the basis of their function as aprofessional medical assistant. Techniques of interaction are taught to enable the student as aprofessional to reduce stress for themselves and for those with whom they will come in contact. Legal and ethical issues relative to communication are discussed.
