Abroad overview of the historic, economic, political, social and cultural development of the African continent. Particular emphasis will be upon the background of this area and how this impacted its development and importance to the industrialized world. Completion of this course fulfills the Non-Western Culture requirements for graduation from Southwestern Illinois College.
