World Civilization I

Catalog description

This course is asurvey of world history from the birth of civilization to the beginning of the Age of Exploration at the close of the 15th century. Subjects discussed will include the evolution of Greek, Roman, Chinese, Japanese, Islamic, and Native American civilizations; the development of the great world religions; and the birth and growth of Europe. This course will conclude with adiscussion and areview of the Age of Exploration.
