The first of four didactic courses designed to provide the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform as aparamedic as well as meet state and national classroom and lab standards for certification. Topics covered in this section include anatomy and physiology review, airway management, assessment skills, intravenous therapy, and trauma.
