Catalog description

Surveys the theory and methods related to planning and maintaining aearly childhood curriculum for preschool children. Students devise educational plans for children in individual, small group, and in large group learning situations. The importance of play as an avenue for learning is addressed in the following curricular areas: language, science, art, math, music, dramatic play, blocks, and sensory play.
