This is the first of atwo-course sequence providing an in-depth study of obstetrical and gynecological sonographic imaging including patient preparation and associated clinical signs and symptoms. Covered within this course are scanning guidelines, protocols, anatomy and physiology, and pathology of the female pelvis as related to gynecology and obstetrics. An emphasis is placed on the first trimester as well as abnormal pregnancies.
