This is the first of atwo-course sequence providing an in-depth study of abdominal sonographic imaging. Covered topics include scanning guidelines, protocols, anatomy, and pathology of the abdominal vasculature liver, gallbladder, biliary system, pancreas, spleen, and urinary system. Emphasis is also placed on patient preparation regarding clinical signs and symptoms.
