This course is an introduction to database concepts using relational database management systems. Students are introduced to the fundamentals of the relational model using various relational products and practical case studies. Topics include structured query language, data modeling, database design, and database administration. Products include SQL Server, MySQL, Microsoft Access, and/or Microsoft Excel.
