Catalog description

This course will teach students the basic concepts and techniques necessary to use type as an element of design and more than just words on apage. The course is designed to look at font faces as well as families, and explores the use of not only the type face but how through the effective use of type tools and color it can interact with other graphics on the page to become atrue element of design. Basic computer skills preferred.
