Asurvey of chemistry in the context of the things that can or do affect us in our everyday lives. Topics include air and water quality, global warming, fossil, solar and nuclear fuels, acid rain, plastics and nutrition. This course is designed for transfer students in liberal arts, and elementary education majors.
