This course consists of asystem overview of the components, line replaceable units and functional displays of the Garmin G1000 Integrated Flight Display and Global Navigational System for both VFR and IFR pilot operations. Instructional topics include the function of each LRU and the data that it provides for the integrated Primary and Multi-Function Flight Displays. Instructional topics also cover the data input sources for the G1000 integrated system and functional inputs to the panel displays.
