Catalog description
This course outlines the development of the Air Traffic Control system along with many of the FAA rules and regulations governing visual and instrument flight. This course includes areview of the intricate procedures, rules, systems and phraseology used today for controlling air traffic and provides abrief look at future requirements in the domestic and international arena. This course is abasic systems course providing current and future pilots, air traffic controllers and individuals pursuing acareer in aviation, abackground in the National Airspace System. Normally complemented by afield trip to alocal air traffic facility.
