Catalog description

An introduction to the fundamental concepts and techniques of drawing using avariety of black and white media will form the core content of this course. There will be astrong emphasis on introductory perceptual drawing skills such as perspective, spatial relationships, and contrast through line and value. The students will work directly with astill life and will not be drawing from photos. Coursework includes vocabulary development, critical analysis activities and references to historic models of drawing.
