Band I

Catalog description

This course provides an opportunity for those who play a band instrument to gain experience playing in an ensemble. Emphasis is placed on band techniques and the study and performance of a variety of styles and periods of band literature. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate skills needed to participate in ensemble playing leading to performance. Student must be in good standing with the WCU marching band.
