In this course, students will explore the essential principles of unmanned aerial system (UAS) technology and operations. They will evaluate regulatory compliance, apply aeronautical decision-making strategies, and develop basic piloting skills. Additionally, students will analyze ethical and legal considerations relevant to UAS use across industries within the National Airspace System, preparing them to manage authentic, practical challenges and capitalize on the growing applications of UAS technology in various fields.
