POL 302
Globalization, Community, and Culture
Southern New Hampshire University · UGRD · Fall 2026
1 section
Catalog description
This course explores both what globalization is and what it means for individuals, communities, and cultures. Why would anyone want to live in a globally interconnected world? Why would anyone oppose the process of globalization? Is the ever increasing economic and political integration and cultural homogenization of human societies around the world inevitable, or could it be just a passing phase? Students explore these questions and more in this course as they grapple with the implications of one of the most consequential phenomena of our time.
