This course will serve as the foundational course in a five-course series introducing the FNP student to the APRN role through 160 precepted hours of clinical practice experiences in a primary care setting. Emphasis is placed on applying knowledge of advanced health assessment and health promotion, advanced pathophysiology, pharmacology, and patient interviewing techniques.
