Catalog description
This course introduces students to the art and practice of mathematical modeling through a scenario-based approach. Students will explore the construction, analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of models across a wide variety of real-world contexts. Emphasis is placed on using graphical, numerical, and symbolic techniques to investigate real data and phenomena. Students will utilize programming tools to develop, implement, and refine models, building computational skills essential for modern problem-solving.
