Flight Testing - Stability and Control

Catalog description

This is a flight test course exploring the stability and control of aircraft in general. In EG-419FT, students will plan three flight tests evaluating the stability and control characteristics of a Cessna 172 aircraft; they will analyze data previously collected during such flight tests with an instrumented Cessna 172 R aircraft and compare these experimental results with theoretical calculations. They will report on these tests in formal test reports.
