Catalog description

This course is an introduction to techniques and tools for analysis of continuous-time and discrete-time signals and systems. Topics to be covered include signal representation in time and frequency domains using Fourier series and Fourier transforms and FFT; the Nyquist sampling theorem; system definitions and properties, such as linearity, causality, time invariance, and stability; use of convolution, transfer functions and frequency response to determine system response.
