Catalog description

In this course, students will develop foundational knowledge and skills related to cybercrime threats, digital vulnerabilities, and organizational risk within public safety environments. They will analyze current and emerging threats using frameworks to evaluate legal and ethical dimensions of cybercrime responses, and develop clear, strategic, audience-tailored communications. Through applied analysis and interdisciplinary research, students will gain technical fluency and ethical decision-making skills, preparing them to lead policy development and incident response efforts for a variety of complex cyber challenges in the fields of public safety.
