Catalog description

The Biomedical Capstone course is a culminating experience designed for students to integrate and apply the knowledge and skills acquired throughout their biomedical science education. Through independent or team-based projects, students will identify real-world problems in health, medicine, or biotechnology and develop innovative solutions using research, experimentation, data analysis, and engineering design principles. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, collaboration, scientific communication, and ethical considerations in biomedical research. Students will produce a final report and present their findings to peers, faculty, and professionals, demonstrating readiness for postsecondary education or careers in the biomedical field.
