Catalog description
General Biology course that includes mammalian cell structure and function, cellular reproduction and physiology, and Mendelian genetics. This course delves deeply into the processes of transcription and translation of DNA, cell respiration, and photosynthesis and the molecular structure and facilitation of these processes. This course is designed for students interested in the life sciences. Laboratory exercises (BIO 120L) to follow lecture topics.
