An Honors-level of the sociological principles and concepts that shape the development, structure, and function of societies, cultures, human interactions, groups, self-image, conflict, socialization, and social change. Honors emphasizes interactive learning, entailing an examination of the self and one’s social and cultural world through the use of reflective reasoning and dialogue. Courses with “H” suffixes are designated Honors-level courses and can be used to fulfill equivalent general education requirements.
