Nursing Systems: Policy, Power, and Practice in Urban Settings (Lecture)

Catalog description

This course prepares the RN-to-BSN student to understand and apply theories of leadership and management within a healthcare environment. In addition, students will learn to function as interdisciplinary team members and apply principles of Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN). Emphasis will be on decision-making, delegation, priority setting, and conflict management.
