Catalog description
This course is equivalent to MATH 126 and requires students to be concurrently enrolled in a co-requisite section of MATH 26. A rigorous discussion of algebra concepts necessary for calculus is the focal point of this course. Topics include an in-depth investigation of algebraic functions and their graphs and solutions of systems of equations. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: This course serves as a prerequisite course for MATH 127 and is essential for students planning to take calculus. CSN offers this course only as a 6-credit combination course of MATH 126E (3 credits) and the MATH 26 (3 credits) co-requisite course.
