This is an introduction to the science of embalming, the procedures used, and the purpose. The history of the embalming process, along with why and when it is required will be discussed. Emphasis will be on the proper and ethical use of embalming chemicals and compounds, instruments and equipment used, and the embalming reporting for each case.
