Catalog description
The Wills & Trusts course is an introduction to the laws relating to probate administration as applied to wills, trusts, and intestacy. The course covers probate law (testate or intestate), descent and distribution, probate and nonprobate property, will necessity, the proper components of a will, will validity and drafting, trusts, estate planning, personal estate representatives, the probate and estate administration process, informal probate administration, and ethical principles and rules. Family Law and Common Law Property are prerequisites for this course.
